You know the drill. I find the smartest, edgiest, and hopefully sexiest people I know who have the characteristics of entrepreneurship to contribute advice to The Chancebending Network. Today we’re talking to Brian Begun.

One Question with… Brian Begun

“The biggest trends I see happening in 2019 and computing/technology in general will be the continued growth of Internet of Things (IoT) devices (voice recognition), more integration/usage of Deep Learning/AI just about everywhere. Also, 5G mobile networks will continue to roll out and grow, and we’ll start to see more 5G supported devices. As 5G starts to become the “new standard”, we’ll see a change in how we access our data. We’re headed towards a threshold where data will be accessible almost instantly no matter where we are. This means we will see and interact with services and technology in ways that in years past were considered something we would only see in a Sci-Fi film. Finally, wearable technology will continue to grow, although at a slower pace than other tech. The biggest drag on wearable technology is that even though bendable screens are finally coming to consumers this year, until the electronics and battery technology can also be flexible, the form factors possible for wearables will still be limited, and wearables need more of a “fashion first” consideration to be a hit with consumers.”
