I’m not one of those crazy Elon Musk fan boys. Sure I “like” Elon, but I’m not some kind of Elon fan zombie. But I do think it’s worth following him. Mostly because being a “real entrepreneur” involves having giant nerves of steel.

And Elon has gigantic nerves of steel.

He consistently handles the daily stress of entrepreneuring well, even if occasionally he smokes joints on air and says dumb things. FWIW, I came across this post the other day. It made me stop and marvel:

 

Tesla was only ‘single-digit weeks’ away from death during Model 3 production.

 

It reminded me that, as an entrepreneur, your life won’t ever become less stressful. There is some kind of false idea that we will eventually make it and all will be well.

Instead, there is just fighting the good fight.

I don’t want to pretend the fight is overtly noble. Instead, I just want to say it is fighting the good fight.
