You know the drill. I find the smartest, edgiest, and hopefully sexiest people I know who have the characteristics of entrepreneurship to contribute advice to The Chancebending Network. Today we’re talking with Jeff Rubin, CEO and Founder of SportsMe.

Jeff Rubin discusses the future roles of fans and athletes in the sports industry…

“The sports industry is a funny thing, it’s great for the industry, but not for the fans and athletes. Fans want a deeper connection with sports, they want to feel something and be emotionally invested, and they want to be heard. These modern consumers want to engage directly with each other, have purpose and achievable goals, and they want to create stuff, not be dictated what they should consume. We believe the industry should be an ecosystem driven by fans and athletes. Trends are pointing in that direction, but nobody is providing this value.”
