You know the drill. I find the smartest, edgiest, and hopefully sexiest people I know who have the characteristics of entrepreneurship to contribute advice to The Chancebending Network. Today we’re talking to Alberto Furger of READ Enterprises.

One Question with… Alberto Furger, READ Enterprises

“The challenges associated with student debt will more and more become a topic of political discourse; I expect it to become one of the hot topics on the agendas for the presidential elections with new policies being proposed. The pressure on the current system can, therefore, be expected to increase over the coming months. As a consequence, the general public will become more aware of the repercussions associated with student debt and its ripple effects on other social and economic aspects of life.

We will see more corporations coming up with fringe benefit plans offering financial support to their employees with student debt; currently, only 4% of American firms offer support in this respect. This is in line with our business model and we already see companies moving in this direction.

As for the overall market currently standing at 44 million borrowers in total with over 1.5 trillion in outstanding student debt, this will not go away overnight and if the economy is going to slow down as expected by many analysts; the issues will further accelerate.”
